Garren M. Brannon, RD, LDN, currently holds degrees in Biology (1989), Culinary Arts (1996), and Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2004). He has worked in both clinical and research labs at the Medical Center. Garren has served as a Culinary and Nutrition Instructor for BestHealth of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Wilkes Community College, Surry Community College, Guildford Technical Community College, the Very Vegetarian Society, and the Gluten Intolerance Group. He has also served as a Culinary Judge for The Dixie Classic Fair. He is currently a member of the American Dietetic Association and Dietetic Practice Groups for Weight Management, Nutrition in Complementary Care, and Food and Culinary Professionals. He has completed a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association.
